When people ask me about my favorite Oahu Wedding Venues, I always come back to the idea that this island truly has something for everyone! You can get ready by the ocean, have a ceremony inside a sun-soaked chapel, and finish the night with a sunset that feels unreal, all within a few miles of each other. This wedding day is the perfect example of how couples can choose different locations that still come together beautifully, and if you care about the details, you already know I care right alongside you.

Getting Ready at Outrigger Canoe Club: A Favorite Among Oahu Wedding Venues
Outrigger Canoe Club is one of those places that instantly feels warm and inviting, which is exactly why it’s such a great fit for wedding mornings. The bride got ready here, and the room had this soft, natural light that made every detail, from her florals to her dress, feel thoughtful and calm. I love when a venue gives you a little bit of breathing room before the day begins, and Outrigger absolutely delivers on that. And because the reception also took place here later in the day, everything stayed cohesive from start to finish, which I know matters to so many of my couples!

Groom’s Portraits at Queen Kapiolani Hotel: Architectural Lines & Mountain Views
Queen Kapiolani Hotel is another standout when talking about Oahu Wedding Venues, especially if you love the idea of architecture playing a part in your photos. The interior gives you those clean, modern lines, and just outside you get beautiful mountain views that add so much depth to groom portraits. The portraits here felt elevated but still true to the day, and that’s exactly what I want when I’m photographing these moments: intentional but not staged, natural but still beautiful.

St. Augustine by the Sea: A Chapel Filled with Light
St. Augustine by the Sea is one of the most breathtaking chapels on Oahu. The stained glass is stunning on its own, but when the sun hits it? It fills the space with color in a way that feels really meaningful. Their ceremony had this calm, reverent energy that made the whole moment feel grounded and personal. And because the chapel architecture is so unique, it naturally becomes part of the story, without taking away from the couple themselves. If you’re the kind of person who loves a ceremony space that feels intentional, this is absolutely one to consider!

Sunset at Outrigger Canoe Club: Why It’s One of the Best Oahu Wedding Venues for Photos
Outrigger Canoe Club has one of the most beautiful sunset views, and that alone makes it a standout among Oahu Wedding Venues. Because there’s direct beach access, we were able to step right outside and capture portraits that feel warm, natural, and completely true to the moment! When the light hits just right and the couple gets a few quiet minutes together, that’s when the magic shows up, and that’s why this location is such a dream for photographers who care about storytelling over posing!

Why I Love Wedding Days with Multiple Oahu Locations
What I love about days like this is that each location adds something different without overwhelming the couple or the flow of the day. The calm morning at Outrigger, the architectural groom portraits at Queen Kapiolani Hotel, the light-filled ceremony at St. Augustine, and then that golden-hour glow back at Outrigger, it all worked together so seamlessly!! When couples choose spaces that feel meaningful to them, the photos reflect that intention. And if you care about creating a day that feels true to you, I care about documenting every part of it!
